Darien Lake opened in 1980. The park is owned by Funtime, Inc. (the same company that owns/operates Geauga Lake Park (Aurora, Ohio) and Wyandot Lake Park (Columbus, Ohio)).

Viper (1982)

An Arrow Dynamics stell coaster with five inversions. The ride features a 75 foot drop, a vertical loop, a double corkscrew and a boomerang with a top speed of 50 miles per hour.

Predator (1990)

Curtis D. Summers designed this two minute, twelve drop curvacious woodie -- New York's largest wooden rollercoaster. The ride is 3400 feet in length and 99 feet high.
